Melanie Ottaway - Current listings

Melanie Ottaway made her move into the real estate industry in early 2016, starting out as an Assistant Property Manager and Branching into the role as the Senior Property Manager of LJ Hooker Coolum in 2018.

Putting her very busy day job to the side, Melanie is very passionate about the community and organises four charity events each year to help the people in need within the Coolum region and raising much needed funds for the Cancer Council, “it’s not just realestate to me, we are real people who generally have your best interests in place”.

Melanie prides herself on her ability to build a rapport with her clients and manage their properties with dedication and professionalism.

An excellent listener, she’s determined to go above and beyond to ensure that her client’s needs and expectations are met.

Melanie has lived on the Sunshine Coast for 20 years within her journey, from 2008 to 2012 Melanie had travelled Australia and New Zealand working on yachts as a stewardess and deckhand, Melanie hung her deck shoes up and then became an Events Coordinator from 2012 to early 2016 organising small conferences.

Melanie then followed her dreams to become a Property Manager and joined the team at the Coolum office with Tony and Michelle, with being taken under their wing, Melanie climbed the ladder and began her journey in her dream job.

Melanie is also a keen fisherwomen and loves being amongst the outdoors.
